eBook Writing - What is Stopping You from Writing Your eBook?

What is Stopping You from Writing Your eBook?

It is only natural human instinct to question or doubt what we do. But, those who allow that doubt to constantly prevent us from achieving our goal of becoming a published author should carefully analyze what the reason is that stops us from taking that next step. This article has been written with a list of common excuses why people never follow through with writing an eBook.

One of the main goals for our eBook Author Academy is to eliminate these obstacles that are preventing you from writing. Maybe you don't know where to begin, how to self publish, how to convert your word document to PDF, how to create an eBook cover and so on. We show you how!

So what are the reasons why so many people say that they would like to write a book or eBook but there are only a few us who actually do?

Do any of These Reasons Apply to You?

I was not good at English and writing in school.

I am struggle with spelling and grammar.

    I am not an author.

I don't think anyone would want to buy my eBook.

I don't want to risk failure.

I don't have enough time to write.

It costs too much to write a book or eBook.

I am not creative enough to write a fiction eBook.

I don't have the energy or motivation to write.

I will never be an award winning author so why write.

I don't know where to start in writing an eBook.

I don't have any qualifications to be an author.

There's no money to be made in writing eBooks (hmmm…. If only they knew!)

    I am afraid of rejection.

eBook stores won't accept my eBook.

Many of these are valid reasons, but all can be overcome or easily solved. In fact we solve many of these issues, doubts and concerns with the information we provide in our Academy.

You need to be honest with yourself as to why you have not written your eBook yet, or why you keep delaying starting your writing. If you really lack the interest, desire, motivation to write, then maybe you shouldn't. Writing should be enjoyable and you should be driven by the possible success you could have as an author.

I would be the first to tell you that my spelling, grammar and sentence structure is not always the best. In fact, I was the one who didn't enjoy English class at school. I was the one who had many of the above doubts. I soon realized from listening to self-published authors that it was more about having the knowledge and ability to write and less about the skills in spelling and grammar.

I can also tell you that the two main people who proof read and edit all of my eBooks will tell you that I am far from being accomplished in the skills of spelling and grammar. The red marks that appear all over my manuscripts will testify to that. The main point is that anyone can become an author, and there is help waiting for you in those areas where you fall short.
