Using Screenr.com to Produce Your Next eBook Trailer

I have always been a big fan of using video to promote books and eBooks. Our company "eBooks International" is in the process of creating its own video website for eBook trailers.

Authors will be able to upload their own videos, audio interviews and covers of their eBooks to help promote their work.

Video is gaining in popularity all the time. YouTube has helped to revolutionized vide sharing. There were some companies before YouTube but they allowed YouTube to get to market faster and become a recognized brand for video sharing.

You can now create your own video for free! That's right, you do not need a production team to produce an eBook trailer for you.

I am about to show you how you can produce your very own video (using Screenr.com) even if you have little knowledge with video production.

Have you been putting off video until you "have the time?" If you have, you're missing out on a great opportunity to build your personal brand and sell more books.

Screenr is not the most powerful option available to you to create videos; however, it is a great free option to get you started!

    What is Screenr.com?

Screenr.com is a web-based recorder integrated with a hosting platform and close ties with Twitter.com

    Benefits of Screenr.com Include:

    1. You don't have to buy software.

    2. You can manually create links to each video.

    3. You don't have to spend valuable time learning a complicated piece of software.

    4. You don't' have to buy expensive software.

    With Screenr.com You Can:

    1. Create the front and back covers of your eBook.

    2. Share video testimonials for your eBook.

    3. Share audio testimonials for your eBook.

    4. Create anticipation for your eBook.

    5. Prepare for your book launch.

    6. Drive readers to your own site via your video.

    7. Walk readers through each chapter.

To Get Started You Will Need to Have:

    1. A Twitter username and password (Screenr will automatically notify twitter each time you publish a video)

    2. A Microphone (you can use Skype)

    3. Presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint)

    How Do You Use Screenr?

    1. Start by visiting www.screenr.com

    2. Register your Twitter.com username and password.

    3. To begin your first recording, press the Record Your Screen Cast Now button.

    6. When you're finished, press the green Done button.

    7. Screenr then takes you to the "Publish Your Screencast" page, where you can.
