    Testimonials Build Credibility! How to Obtain Testimonials for Your eBook








    When I require testimonials for my eBooks I start by researching and identifying 10 reputable people who are linked to my niche topic.

     

    Fortunately, I have been able to build up my own network over the years where I can immediately contact these associates asking to read my eBook and provide a testimonial. These people also understand the benefits of helping fellow authors out as well as having the opportunity to receive self promotion via their testimonial.

     

    These testimonials are returned to me via email outlining the benefits of my eBook. I will then use these on my sales pages, author page or within sample eBooks.

     

    It is important that you never ever make up fake testimonials. This is an illegal and unethical practice by some unscrupulous people.

     

    Testimonials are powerful tools to help you sell your eBook.

     

    You Can Obtain Testimonials Several Ways Such As:

     

    Free eBook - Give away your eBook to a designated number of readers in return for a testimonial.

     

    Request Feedback - Place a note at the end of your eBook asking for feedback or a testimonial with regards to your eBook. If you like what they write then you can ask them if you can publish what they wrote.

     

    Approach Experts - Contact key figures within your niche topic directly and ask them if they would

    be willing to read your eBook and provide a testimonial. In return you can offer them a form of self-promotion for their site.

     

    Friends - Ask friends to submit a testimonial for your eBook.

     

    Comment Section - Gather testimonials from the "comments section" on your author page.

     

    Source Testimonials - You can often seek out experts to provide testimonials for your eBook. A site such as ProfNet.com may be one such site to find someone who can help you out.

     

    How to Leverage Your Testimonials for Maximum Benefit:

     

    1. Post via Twitter with a link to where your product is sold.

     

    2. Post on your FaceBook fan page with a link to where your eBook is sold.

     

    3. Add the testimonial to your eBook landing page sales letter.

     

    4. Post the selected testimonial in your Linkedin profile to gain further credibility.

     

    5. Add these testimonials in sample chapters of your eBook

     

    6. Add to you newsletters

     

    7. Include some powerful testimonials in your articles
