How to Build Relationships Online Using These 6 Simple Techniques

There are specific techniques to building relationships online. The key is staying focused and being able to create a maximum presence for your time on the top three social media sites.

Start a Discussion and Invite People to Join in By Proposing a Question

One great way to interact with someone is to start a conversation with them. This applies to people you meet at a party, in a meeting, at a café, as well as online. One great place to find people to talk to are discussion groups. Simply join the group and then post some tips, articles or questions that will initiate a response from fellow discussion group members.

Let Visitors Get to Know You Via Your Profile

People will become interested in you if you have some unique information to share about yourself. This may evoke them to contact you or join a discussion group on your blog if they can see your photo.

    Demonstrate Your Expertise

If you can answer your readers' questions and solve their problem then they will be more likely to recognize you as an expert. They will return again in the future with more questions for you.

Don't Wait for Your Visitors to Come to You, Go to Your Visitors!

This is where you need to be proactive and join conversations that are occurring either on your site, or another site.

    Be the First to Give!

When you help someone they will be grateful for your assistance. Giving something first is always a great way to build a relationship.

Share Your News on Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook

    1. Linkedin –Submit your news and share your blog posts with the entire group

    2. Twitter – post to your Twitter account a newsworthy item

    3. Facebook – you can set-up discussions on your page for people to join in and discuss a specific topic

    Summary

When it comes to building relationships online you need to be proactive, creative, be able to evoke discussions and be prepared to give something first in order to build trust. Networking is a great way to open up new doors and potentially generate more visitors to your site which in turn will help you to build your own following that leads to more eBook sales.
