Most of the top video sites allow you to share the videos that are uploaded on to their site. YouTube is one site that allows people to use the videos from their site. Embedding

Embedding allows for your video to be inserted into any web page or blog within minutes. Users can use the code provided for you video. You don't have to worry about creating the code as YouTube does this for you.

On YouTube, you will see the <Embed> button located just below your video. This allows for people to copy this code and paste it onto their web page. It is likely that you have a module on your blog or site that you can install that allows you to simply input this code. Otherwise, you may have to insert the code in to the page's html code.

Linking

The next option for sharing videos is linking. As with all other links, when someone clicks on a link it takes him or her to the designated page. In this case, you will be taken to YouTube where you will land on the specific page to view that video.

To get the link, look for the <Share> button below the YouTube video. You'll see a link you can copy and paste into your website or blog.

Ideally you don't want people to leave your site to go to YouTube to view a video as this may distract the viewer and they may stay on YouTube as they discover related videos.
