Blog Tips - Blog Headline and Title Planner

    Blog Tips

In order to convert viewers into buying customers, you must grab the reader's attention and pull them in to read what you have to offer. You can do this by including a few powerful words in your header.

Good headlines can easily double your response. A great one can do even better and turn internet surfers into potential customers! Curiosity is a major human characteristic that needs to be exploited when it comes to creating your headline. A headline that warrants further exploration is one that has captured the attention of a viewer.

Headlines are without doubt, the major factor as to whether or not, your sales page, promotional articles, ads or web pages are read. Creating attention-grabbing headlines quickly puts you on your way to success.

Think about what you personally do when flipping through a magazine in a store? Most likely the first thing you do is scan the headlines. And then the next thing you do is to read the article that you think is the most interesting.

Let's get started on providing you with some tips on how to create these attention grabbing headlines.

You know you have a great headline if you can make your viewer read on. This is the first step to make a sale or succeed in whatever action you are trying to achieve. If you cannot pull in the reader with your headline to read more then you will have little chance of selling your eBook.

    Note:

I will use the theme of one of my own eBooks (eBook Marketing Online – For Maximum Exposure and Profit) in the following examples.

    Headline 1:

If You Don't _____________________ Now, You'll Hate Yourself Later!

This technique tugs on the emotions of “belonging” with the reader. We all want to be a part of a conversation, a rumor or a new event going on. The same applies here. The reader will feel like they are missing out on something if they don't act.

    Example Headlines:

    1. If You Don't Get These Powerful e-marketing Techniques Now, You'll Hate Yourself Later When You Don't Sell Any eBooks.

    2. If You're Not Receiving These Insider Tips, Then You Are Losing Out on the Most Powerful Online Marketing Tools Available.

    Headline 2:

Ask a Provocative Question in Your Headline.

This technique will engage your reader and get them directly involved. The question you pose must relate directly and clearly to the major benefit of your eBook.

    Example Headlines:

    1. Not Selling Any eBooks Lately? Then Read this!

    2. Do You Make These Four Common Mistakes in Formatting Your eBook?
