Attract Readers to Your Author Blog with Lists
Maximise your eBook marketing gains by writing effective and powerful titles for your blog that involves lists.
The first thing that catches a readers' attention is the headline and it can directly influence whether or not that reader clicks through to read your article or post. A great headline also helps with rankings of your article.
In order to write an effective headline you will want to first do some research on your key words. A free tool you can use, and I often use, is the Google Keyword Tool. You don't always want to take the most popular searches for your “keyword” as the majority of others using this tool will be doing that. So look a little further down the list and you will have less competition with those words which are still specific to your article.
Any headline that lists a number of “ways”, “how to”, “reasons”, “secrets” or “types” will work in grabbing the readers' attention because it makes a very specific promise of what that reader can expect if they continue on to read your article.
The key to your success in having readers return to your blog over and over again is providing them with quality content to back up your headline.
Bulleted and numbered lists are always popular with readers.
Here Are Some “Eye-catching Headlines” or “List Titles” to Draw Your Reader In:
